I met Tänzerin on my first trip to Alys Beach — a fabulous, curvy sculpture dancing outside the pool, the one place almost every woman feels exposed. She stands there anyway, telling everyone who passes: you are beautiful. So I put her on a stage and wrote it across the silk — again and again, in every language that uses English letters. No one left out.
