The first design I ever named after a real woman — and it happened completely backwards. The design was finished before anyone knew who it was; then my friend Sarah saw it and didn't hesitate: "OMG. This is SO Kiki." Hot pink — the loudest pink I've ever sent to production — with leopards prowling the patchwork. Named for Kristen: easy about life, immovable about values.
