Kathy came to me through her daughter, who wanted to honor the woman who cared for her husband through more than a decade of Alzheimer's — with courage, patience, and grace outside the normal bounds of human nature. She assigns meaning to everything, so we built her a scarf where everything means something: the peacock for grace, purple for the fight, rainbows for hope. At the center: "beauty in everything."
