There are dinosaurs on this scarf. Also UFOs. Also a tiger wearing sunglasses.

This was intentional — and there's a reason. Taylor and I are both boy moms, and it is, without competition, the most important job either of us has. So when we made a collection together, our boys' entire universe wandered onto the silk. Dinosaurs prancing through wildflowers. Spaceships. One extremely cool tiger. The things you love most always find their way into the work.

We met the way half the best things in this brand happened: in my Instagram DMs. Taylor messaged me right before the Southern C Summit, and she was so fun and so sweet that by the time we met in person at the summit, it wasn't an introduction — it was a reunion. We clicked instantly.

Taylor Reese makes the kind of statement jewelry that does not whisper — dangling charms, beads on beads, neon Swarovski pearls — pieces that assume, correctly, that you'd rather be looked at than overlooked. Pair that with electric greens and unapologetic pinks, and this collection came out exactly as subtle as we intended: not at all.

And tucked into the design is my favorite sign I've ever put on silk. It reads: I am not for everyone.
